伦敦中医学院国际交流

The international influence of the CMIR reflected in its membership of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) with Prof. Mei elected as vice-chairman. The roles played by CMIR are not only in the academic and research fields but also the liaison between the governmental bodies such as State Drug and Food Administration of China (SDFA, China), Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA,UK), State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM, China) and the Department of Health, UK. CMIR is also a member of the Chinese Medicine Working Group and the DoH Steering Group active in regulation and governance issues. The affiliation with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China Association of Chinese Medicine, German Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, and other east/west medical organisations also reflects the dynamic role of CMIR in international medical exchange and integration.

Members of the CMIR may be glad to know that as a gesture of our commitment to the process of integration and solidarity with other professional organizations, the CMIR has joined the Parliamentary Group for Integrated and Complementary Healthcare (PGICH) as a major sponsoring member.
