	Students from Guys Kings and St Thomas's Medical School (London University) began their study of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the AcuMedic Foundation Course organised by the CMIR and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Prof. M F Mei, with the help of Dr. Khalid Khan, CMIR Fellow, initiated this pioneering project with historical significance in the integration of Chinese Medicine education in the West.
